Ampersand Doodling

As you can tell, I have a slight obsession with ampersands. I’m not sure what it is about them, but I always find myself doodling ampersands in my sketchbook or any other papers laying around on my desk. There’s just something fun about drawing those mesmerizing curves.

    I have to say, you made me look twice at ampersands with that tee “& then I woke up”. I love that one.

    As a designer, your line really inspires me to do one heavily concentrated on typography.

    Thanks David. Glad to inspire you to take a closer look at typography. My doodles and type explorations have given me an even greater appreciation for the amount of detail that goes into creating a typeface.
