Introducing Ugmonk Premium Apparel

April 23, 2012 | 13 Comments

It was about a year ago that we introduced the Ugmonk Premium Line with the release of the Ugmonk Leather Journals. It was always the plan to include premium apparel items, but until recently we hadn’t found any apparel items that we felt qualified as premium.

We’ve always put a huge emphasis on comfort and quality, so we wanted to create items that truly stood out for our Premium Line. Each of these three new items features a unique application of the signature Ugmonk Premium Ampersand and a special woven Ugmonk Premium tag.

The first item is an ultra-soft triblend fleece crewneck featuring a custom cut and sewn large felt ampersand appliqué. Perfect to throw on over your tee when you need something little warmer. It’s so soft you might never want to take it off.

If you’re looking for something a little more subtle, check out the new long-sleeve henley with an embroidered ampersand. The dark blue shirt is made of soft ringspun cotton and great for layering.

Finally, in response to many of your requests, we’re happy to introduce our first v-neck tee. This triblend heather charcoal v-neck features a sleek black ampersand print and custom woven tag. Made from the softest material we could find. (Sizing note: the v-necks tend to run a bit small, so we suggest ordering one size larger than you would normally.)

Head over to the shop and check them out. We’d love to hear what you think.

I will be buying that Ampersand V-neck, I think it looks great.

I feel like that V-neck is exactly what I’ve been waiting for – simple, understated, stylish shirt with one of my all time favorite ampersands. I do feel like the Premium tag looks a little obtrusive on this particular item though. I feel like it makes sense on the others, maybe it’s just the brightness of it on the charcoal. Still probably gonna get it.

Also, I really dig the cyan/blue tissue paper. It’s just a really nice touch.

So, I just felt like you needed to know… I got this shirt, and I ordered a size up, but it just doesn’t fit me well. I’m a pretty tall, skinny guy, so even the medium is just too short and a little looser all the way around. Just feeling a little disappointed with the purchase. I wear it more as an undershirt than anything. Shirt feels great and the print is nice, but the fit is just off, so it doesn’t get worn. I couldn’t tell, but it looked like the new green version of this might be on a different kind of shirt, so maybe you picked up on this already?

Any plans for womens sizes?  I’d love one of these too!

Just mens/unisex for now, but maybe womens in the future.

Oh wow, LOVE the fleece crewneck! Also, echoing the sentiments of women’s sizes!

  • Steve

The fleece crewneck and the V-Neck are nice… Great stuff as usual!

Jeff, look these terrific. Glad to see you offering v-neck tees. Have you ever considered offering tees with designs on back of shirt?
